I didn't know what my very first blog would be on weebly.com until it just came to me when I started rough drafting on scrap paper. I decided to go a different way when it came to writing. I decided to do a restaurant review on a local restaurant that I went to last Friday. I went to Bloomfield Village Pizza because I wanted to try their food. The experimenter in me decided why not try this Italian restaurant's food. Italian food is one of the food's I grew up eating so Italian food is something I'm very familiar with. I got a menu and their BLT hot sub caught my attention. The 8-inch BLT hot sub included some of the following: Lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, cheese, fries, and any extra toppings would cost extra plus tax. My 8-inch hot sub was $7.75 on Bloomfield Village Pizza's menu. A woman employee waited on me and I remember telling her that I wanted an 8-inch BLT. The woman employee asked me if I wanted cheese and I told her, "Yes." I asked the woman who waited on me if fries came with it and the woman responded, "Yes." The woman mentioned to me that she will give me a receipt and besides this was my very first time ordering food from Bloomfield Village Pizza. When I paid the bill read $8.86 and I became puzzled after the woman who waited on me told me that my food would take 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, another woman employee spoke to me and asked me if everything was alright. I mentioned to the woman employee that on Bloomfield Village Pizza's menu the BLT is $7.75 and it included cheese. The woman employee wanted to know if I paid cash or credit card. I told her that I paid cash and I have the receipt. My coat pocket was filled with receipts from grocery stores when I purchased groceries, lol. I showed the woman employee my receipt and she informed her manager (also a woman) that Bloomfield Village Pizza computer is charging everyone extra when they get cheese on their BLT hot subs. The woman manager told her employee that cheese is not included in BLT hot sub. The employee mentioned Bloomfield Village Pizza's menu should say that "cheese is not included," in BLT hot sub. The woman employee gave me back .54¢ and the woman told me next time "if you order a BLT with cheese it's gonna cost you extra." For that moment, I didn't think about if I would order a BLT or something else the next time I went to Bloomfield Village Pizza. My mind was on how delicious that food was after I ate and I enjoyed the hot 8-inch BLT sub cut in half with several slabs of bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and cheese and hot fresh fries! I would rate Bloomfield Village Pizza 4/5. There's my restaurant review. I hope that all of my readers and fellow bloggers enjoy!
